E-News Service to offer Free Subscriptions...
May 10, 2004--Bald Eagle Press, an email-based daily news aggregation service, announced intentions to offer free subscriptions to the public. The service, which began operations on September 26, 2001, offers concise coverage of military and terrorism issues, as well as general interest and photo news items.
According to the editor, Bill Hartzell, there's been a surge in demand due to BEP's fast and friendly format. Sporting clearly defined subject headers, the reader can quickly decide between keeping or deleting articles. Unlike Internet newspapers, BEP requires no registration or passwords, and more importantly, there are no advertisements or annoying popups.
Hartzell admits that the service does sport a Pro-American Slant, but is devoid of any appreciable political swing. He also says that potential subscribers should be aware that this service is very high volume.
